This post is for those of you that know we are awaiting word on when and where we will be going for our international assignment. This is phase 3 of a training program I am piloting for the Church to train Facility Management graduates in managing Church facilities.
As of 3 weeks ago, the latest word was that we will wait until an opportunity presents itself. That could be 2 months, it could be another year. When we find out, I am guessing we will have about a month to get things in order. Good thing our housing contract is month-to-month.
When we do find out when and where, we will make sure to post on here as well as let everybody know through email.
If you are wondering how we can handle not knowing the future as it is decided by somebody else, the answer is simple. Are we not all puppets of sorts in the game of life, orchestrated by our Heavenly Father? God knows what our potential is; He knows our talents, our gifts, and our hearts. If we make correct choices throughout our lives, God will give us great opportunities. If we are doing what we are supposed to, you never know what opportunities may come our way.
